Condensers and evaporators must be kept clean. In addition to preventing condenser motors and compressors from overheating, clean condensers and evaporators will allow you to save a considerable amount of energy.
What is a BTU?
A BTU, or British Thermal Unit, indicates the energy required to increase the temperature of one pound of water by 1°F, or 1055 joules. This unit of measure is still used to calculate the energy produced by certain devices that are fuelled by natural gas, including furnaces and barbecues.
